FINDING EILEEN / STEPHAN NEBBIA

Hole of Water with A mystery object in the bottom

Jack Monroe, a prominent New York City neurosurgeon, enjoys a privileged life. He has a thriving surgical practice and is dating a beautiful network news anchor. But a dark secret has tormented his conscience since the summer lake-house party twenty-five years ago, when his high school girlfriend, Eileen Delaney, vanished. An unexpected visit by his former employer, mafia boss Jimmy Gigante, draws Jack back into a murky secret past he thought he had left behind. Gigante is seeking help for his daughter, Connie who has a brain tumor. Connie and Jack have a history together, having dated prior to the arrival of Eileen at their high school. But there is a tension between them related to some mysterious event in their mutual past. Jack's perfect life descends into chaos when breaking news reveals that Eileen's body has been discovered, submerged in an abandoned rock quarry with her car. Evidence points to Jack and an unscrupulous DA with political ambitions indicts him for murder. This sets off a chain of events that leaves Jack and those closest to him scrambling for their lives as they are pursued by a powerful cabal of ruthless adversaries. A cabal composed of Irish mobsters, high ranking political figures, and a deadly Mossad assassin, all determined to keep the past hidden. But some secrets refuse to stay buried. The novel seamlessly blends action thriller, legal drama, medical suspense, murder mystery, family tension, romance, a missing woman, and an assortment of interesting locations into one gripping story, which will keep you turning the pages late into the evening.

The New PSYCHOLOGY: A Unified Field of Brain, Mind, Behavior, Perception, Culture...: Abbreviated Edition (B&W)      480 Pages, 8.5X11”, Fully Illustrated These are the bits and pieces that make up a deep understanding of how our mind works. Welcome to the deep woods.     Psychology controls the biology of our brain. At the witch trials in Salem, when the accused were brought into the court, adrenaline and cortisol would have shot into the bloodstream of the spectators. Neurotransmitters would have surged through their brain. Their very brain waves would have shot up from 12 to 40 cycles per second. A P300 brain wave would have screamed “ALERT”. Their heart jumped.  A chill went up their spine. The girls began to shriek “Witch, Witch!”     We know this because the same thing happens in America today among those watching a Hollywood horror movie about witches, zombies, demons, murder and more. In varying degrees thi...
