From Capitalism To Socialism Toward Communism a.k.a. Globalism:

Three Generations of a Chinese Family Moving Forward in Chaos Over One Hundred Years

Not many books documented the complete modern history of China. This book details such a history. It tells the stories of three generations of a Chinese family. -Helen and George, Helen's father and uncle, and Helen's daughter Maggie.

In the first half of this book, China was a capitalist country. Americans had many interactions with Chinese people then. In the 1840s-1930s, American missionaries went to China. They sponsored schools that developed into higher education in China. In WWII, volunteered US pilots fought side-by-side with Chinese soldiers. Many Americans know the Chinese constructed the railroad in the 1860s. Fewer Americans are aware of another group of Chinese. To attract Chinese students, the US returned part of the indemnities. The Qing Dynasty sent students to America. They used the money for tuition. The Republic of China continued sponsoring the program until the 1940s. Helen's two brothers came to the US to study in the 1930s-1940s. George graduated from MIT with a Ph.D. So did his two brothers. They studied science and technologies in the US in the 1940s. Overseas-educated people played critical roles in China. Banking, education, architecture, and other industries. However, their life changed after the communists took over the country.

The latter chapters describe how the communists scrapped the capitalist system. Socialism ideology is becoming a trend in the United States. Americans would need to know the answers to some questions. Had small businesses fared well in a socialist system? Could Chinese people keep their houses and land? How about social security and medical insurance? Is the air clean? How about food safety? Would the government allow private medical practice? Had people's savings shrunk to a fraction over time? Would every worker receive compensation after completing a job? Would the government take people's lives as the priority? Why do so many parents separate from their children to make a living? Is there the Rule of Law? Would the government help to catch frauds and scammers? Would there be abuse in preschools and schools? Are vaccine shots for children safe?  Could one find a place to seek justice if something happened? Would the government watch everyone 24/7?

This book answers all these questions to the readers with real stories of the people. With the turning of pages, readers will learn about China's sceneries. That includes East, South, Northwest, Southwest, and Northeast China.

The Revenant's Mark

The Revenant's Mark A dark historical fantasy novel set during the American Revolution Jacob Hawthorne was hanged as a traitor—forgotten by the cause he fought for, buried in a shallow grave by those he fought against. But death didn’t keep him. The forest brought him back. Now bound to an ancient and wild power, Jacob walks again as a revenant—something more than man, less than myth. Haunted by visions and a mysterious mark burned beneath his ribs, he joins two rebel soldiers on a perilous journey through war-torn colonies and spirit-haunted woods. As the Revolutionary War rages, a secret faction known as the Golden Circle seeks to harness the power of the forest spirits for their own ends—twisting the old magicks into a weapon neither crown nor colony can stop. Jacob must reckon with what he’s become, what he was brought back to do, and whether the soul of a dead man can still choose the right side. Epic in scope and grounded in grit,  The Revenant’s Mark  blends dark...

Proof of the Existence of God: Confronting Science

Proof of the Existence of God: Confronting Science WHEN FAITH CONFRONTS SCIENCE Dare to question, but be ready to believe. “Does God Exist?” This is an age-old debate. Interestingly, those who say “No” often cite science as the basis for their opinion. They openly state that “There is no proof of the existence of God.” However, there is proof of the existence of God. There is more than ample proof of His existence. There is more evidence than anyone will ever need if one was willing to look in the right places, if one was open to that proof, and if one does not block or eliminate the proof or otherwise redefine or pre-determine the scientific criteria despite the evidence. Carl Sagan once wrote, “Extraordinary claims, require extraordinary evidence.”  This book presents Ten Observable, Demonstrable, and Verifiable sets of facts that prove the existence of God. Not one, not two, but ten. Any one set of these proofs by itself would demonstrate it, but together they provide ove...
