The Rings of Time

The Rings of Time: The Early Years Revised

The Rings of Time: The Early Years Revised. This present-day story is about a young man who discovers an invisible spaceship with amazing capabilities, including time control, invisibility, uber-speed, and ability to go through solid matter without effect. Story lines include coming of age in dealing with discovery, adjusting, and above all, preparing for bigger things to come.

Here’s the back story. Descended from past civilizations, we are the culmination of all that has been. We are the sum of our evolution, history, the totality of our collective human experience.

At present, these forces of nature, humanity and technology combine to reach unprecedented thresholds. Now more than ever these very forces are capable of destroying our universe. A past civilization foresaw the arrival of our time, and our troubles. They produced a spaceship to help us, the “Adjuster.”

Until now, there was no need. The time is upon us. The ship is here.

Four childhood friends - Amy, Axel, Monica and JD reunite as revised adults. Their job is to fulfill the promise. Adventure, action, intrigue, suspense and more unfold as the four go about their secret work in preparing to protect the universe.

The narrative is a first-person account as told by the young man who discovers the spaceship. This is Installment One of a two-part series. It’s an exciting story to be enjoyed by young adults and up. There are plenty of colorful characters embedded in a plot that transitions in and out of the speculative.

MC Pollack (B.A., M.A.) now works on Installment Two. He is also the author of several short stories as well as other works in progress. In addition, he wrote the screenplay, “Of the Brave,” a contemporary story about unexpected victims, villains and heroes. Set in NYC, Kabul and elsewhere, the work chronicles the experience of a struggling writer married with children who unwittingly morphs into a national hero.

The Rings of Time: The Early Years Revised, published by Inline Resources (ISBN 978-0-578-90683-6), is now available in digital and hardcopy formats from theringsoftime.com. In addition, it is also available in digital format on Kindle and in paperback from Amazon.com. The digital price is $5.99, the hardcopy price $14.99.

The Revenant's Mark

The Revenant's Mark A dark historical fantasy novel set during the American Revolution Jacob Hawthorne was hanged as a traitor—forgotten by the cause he fought for, buried in a shallow grave by those he fought against. But death didn’t keep him. The forest brought him back. Now bound to an ancient and wild power, Jacob walks again as a revenant—something more than man, less than myth. Haunted by visions and a mysterious mark burned beneath his ribs, he joins two rebel soldiers on a perilous journey through war-torn colonies and spirit-haunted woods. As the Revolutionary War rages, a secret faction known as the Golden Circle seeks to harness the power of the forest spirits for their own ends—twisting the old magicks into a weapon neither crown nor colony can stop. Jacob must reckon with what he’s become, what he was brought back to do, and whether the soul of a dead man can still choose the right side. Epic in scope and grounded in grit,  The Revenant’s Mark  blends dark...

Proof of the Existence of God: Confronting Science

Proof of the Existence of God: Confronting Science WHEN FAITH CONFRONTS SCIENCE Dare to question, but be ready to believe. “Does God Exist?” This is an age-old debate. Interestingly, those who say “No” often cite science as the basis for their opinion. They openly state that “There is no proof of the existence of God.” However, there is proof of the existence of God. There is more than ample proof of His existence. There is more evidence than anyone will ever need if one was willing to look in the right places, if one was open to that proof, and if one does not block or eliminate the proof or otherwise redefine or pre-determine the scientific criteria despite the evidence. Carl Sagan once wrote, “Extraordinary claims, require extraordinary evidence.”  This book presents Ten Observable, Demonstrable, and Verifiable sets of facts that prove the existence of God. Not one, not two, but ten. Any one set of these proofs by itself would demonstrate it, but together they provide ove...
