Whenever we experience trying and overwhelming events in our lives, we all have a choice to make. Whether it’s losing a home or a job, struggling in your marriage or with kids, losing a loved one, or losing your health, there is always one thing in common: the decision to view difficulties with God’s perspective. In 2013, after a series of misfortunes had already fallen on his family, David was diagnosed with cancer. It was during this time that God helped him formulate six simple truths about God that would help keep his attitude in check and make each day his favorite.
